Light roast Hojicha from Kagoshima, Japan, sourced exclusively for SAINT-JEAN. Grown in full sun in mineral-rich volcanic soil beneath the Sakurajima volcano and harvested later in the season for natural sweetness. Lightly roasted and finely milled, it delivers a warm golden-amber colour with notes of honey, toasted grains and warm hay.
